Federico & Salomè

I am truly grateful to have had the opportunity to document Federico and Salomè’s day for this incredible wedding in Portofino.

I’ve lived some ours with Federico’s family before reaching Salomè to Gran Hotel Miramare in Santa Margherita Ligure, It has been fun,
exactly what i like, all very friendly and natural, and than I moved in to Salomè.

What I try to do is photograph the particularities I see, in the situation I’m experiencing….. it’s not the act, but the human interaction

that catches my attention… what happens during my work is interesting.

Anyway, the transport to portofino was organized by sea, and it was nice to photograph the arrival at the port of friends.

The church doesn’t need any description, if you have visit Portofino, do you know what I mean…

It’s unusual, reminds me of Florentine churches, very particular.

After ceremony we have spent some minutes for an easy and relaxing couple session in the center of Portofino

and than we moved to the “Castello Brown“.

The rest of the day was very elegant and relaxing, really dreamy and friendly moments, and then……

the light, the breeze, the view that can be enjoyed from the Castello Brown is so unique…

If you are lucky enough to experience a wedding in Portofino or simply a fleeting visit, a stop at the castle is absolutely mandatory. 

It really was a great pleasure to witness the celebration of their love.
